Migraines And Pressure Issues
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was wondering if anyone else notices a correlation between migraine headaches with their seizures and also more frequent headaches/seizures due to changes in barometric pressure?

Please remember that the word psychoneurologist is just that - a word. Doctors like to make themselves feel better by making up new words (personal opinion) so don't think that they're labeling you. Why do you think they call it practice? *Smile*

I think it's political correctness nonsense. More than a few times I have and will continue to scold young doctors for saying "seizure disorder" instead of Epilepsy. I always point out that it's not a bad word so use it! I met a young woman years ago who told me that she didn't have Epilepsy, she had something that was much less severe - a seizure disorder. I told her it was the same thing and to ask her doctor. She was shocked when she found out she had Epilepsy!
