Different Seizures, Same Aura?
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

For people who have multiple types of seizures and also auras, is your aura the same each time regardless of the type of seizure?

I'm asking because my aura is fairly consistent at onset but does have some differences at the peak. I have had an absence seizure recorded during a VEEG but also have experienced what may be atonic seizures.

Any info is appreciated!

I have complex partial and tonic clonic. I would say they're really both the same, this really weird falling sensation that's hard to explain. Almost and out of body experience.

I very rarely get a aura, but when I do, I feel shaky inside, & my seizures I look for water, & when given water, I come out of them.
