Keppra can make you depressed, change your mood and behavior, trouble with balance, dizziness and tiredness. I believed that's most of it.

Yes it can. Keppra is a nasty med and hate being on it. When you're on it gives these really big highs and lows. People refer to as Keppra 'rage' and I have experienced it and it be very bad. It can make you very aggressive. I hope this helps.

Keppra is the worst drug I have ever had in my life. I took it on October 15,2019 and I was diagnosed with PNES in March 2020. I started on May 6,2021 my kids found me unconscious from a seizure and I woke up the next day in the hospital. I have been in the hospital at least 30 times. Keppra has caused my heart to beat fast and I have Afib so my heart has been shocked 3 times and I had a TIA STROKE in August. My head hurts really bad and I am now depressed and afraid of what has been happening to me. Keppra has definitely caused my condition to get worse. I have to stop taking it because it has caused my condition to get worse and my seizures to get worse

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , It is very possible. There are many meds out there that have bad side effects.

Diarrhea is usually attached more to codeine then keppra. Codeine tends to irritate
The stomach but I don't think it irritate your stomach. I don't know that much about
Keppra. I took it for a very short time but had side affects so she changed me to
Something else. Talk with your Dr maybe she or he will change you to a different.
Best of luck!!!
