I live by myself and sometimes I wonder if I'm having seizures during the night and just not realizing it. I am usually really good about waking up to my alarm but there are some times that I do not hear it at all

The doctor told my daughter she could not have a seizure when she was sleeping cause her brain is shut down. But she has had several in her sleep. I witnessed one myself.
Majority of mine have also been in my sleep. I have grand mals. I wake up and feel like I have literally been hit or maybe I should say slammed by a semi truck! Worst exhaustion ever. I have a hard time physically getting up. I usually have a headache and I'm a bit disoriented. I remember one I had before I knew I was having breakthroughs (I hadn't had any in years) I got up and called my husband who was traveling. I told him something was not right. I just knew.
I've had this same thought because all but one of my seizures has been in my sleep or right after I wake up. When I have grand mals, I know that I have because I am really foggy, body is just beat and I have usually bit my tongue pretty bad. Sometimes I wake up with bruises.
The exhaustion could be a sign but I would probably talk to your doc about it. I've thought about those watches they have now too, although I'm not sure how reliable they would be.
