Yep, ironically enough I just asked my partner to look at your reply and before they saw it they said 'you have just told me that' - they thought I was talking about this site. To be honest I had forgotten that this site existed even though it is on my computer. You know what I have to laugh or I would cry! :)

Christiane: I don't know if I ever had memory problems before the accident or not. I was 2 when I feel down the stairs, and 6 when I was diagnosed. So my mom would know more about that then me. But I do know after the accident, my memory wasn't as bad as it is now. Declan: My short term memory is so much worse then my long term memory. In fact, sometimes I don't even think I have a long term memory because my memory is so bad. :p

Christiane, not quite sure if it only started with the meds because I have refractory epilepsy so have tried them all. Gets a bit a bit difficult to keep up. I know some people get angry with me laughing it off but what else can you do? It is so depressing you don't need to bring yourself down anymore. Best wishes to you :)

Yes! I usually laugh it off but it is upsetting. I didn't have this problem prior to the anti-seizure medicine, did you?

It's such a regular problem with me. Luckily my husband/mother and daughter are used to it. The damage to my hippocampal area explains it, so it is easier to cope with. However, some of the medications have contributed to the issue.
