My daughter had an eeg and they said she has two types generalized and partial. They said it is not partial becoming generalized. They said she has two separate different types. One is juvenile Myoclonic epilepsy and then after her MRI it shows atrophy of left mesial temporal lope pointing to left mesial temperal sclerosis. Can someone explain ?
Yes, it's very common for us to have multiple types of seizures. Here's some info you can read up on to explain MTS. God bless you & your daughter...and I pray her drs are able to give her better seizure control now that they have the data from her EEG. 💜 Take care!

I have three different types but I can never remember the names of the types I have but that is because it is starting to affect my memory now. I have the types where you fall and shake, walk around, bash into things and don't know what you are doing and also the type where you are aware of what is happening and get the funny raising feeling in the stomach. The problem for me is I still have around 13 of these every month still. This isn't down to medication though because a few years ago I was having around 30 a month.
Don't know the answer to that ask doctor preferably a neurologist.
My memory is jacked. I know I have a couple different types. My doctor has identified 2. I know by my own research that there has to be more. But they won't do another scan.
