I had an aura in my sleep it wake me up leaving me breathless. Is this normal?
Rosemary, you're correct. We are all different. It did seem strange to have friends and relatives tell me, what happened with tonic-clonic seizures in my sleep. They told me about actually standing-up and walking out to a gurney. I did it, but no memory ever existed.
When I have an aura I usually go into a seizure.......the last few times I had an aura I would try and relax and take deep breaths. In your nose and out your mouth kepping my mind on the breathing. O
It helped. Hope it helps you......as for night sweats I am kicking the blankets off cause I and pulling them back up because I am cold.......
LoL once again I will say we are all different night sweats were for me hormonal changes.I do have seizures in my sleep and if over tired befor I go to bed I'll have restless leg syndrome. I do not recall Auras in my sleep. Keeping a journal is helpful. Just because I wake up in the night does not mean I've had an aura. we all wake up at night no matter who we are and a feeling of lightheadedness can be explained as simple as not enough oxygen. Take your time getting up, sit up breath deep and enjoy you feet touching the floor be grateful you can breath in wonderful oxygen,be greatful you even have feet Have a nice big stretch and say a mini prayer of gratitude for this moment thank God for one more day.
Yes I get these too but convince myself it's a bad dream. Definitely do seize at night... I know that familiar completely drained feeling in the morning; where I'm more tired than when I went to bed!!
Sharon auras be different and strange... Metallic taste or other unusual taste, smell, sound, etc; A feeling of deja vu; sudden rising feeling of fear or joy. All very odd
Never heard of that. We are all different
