Not pregnant but wondering for the ladies that have kids and have epilepsy, how does or did the pregnancy effect your epilepsy?

They can because now my Sz are hormonally imbalanced. I have them around my period.

Pregnancies but as soon as they were born the fits started again so I do think that hormones can effect epilepsy.

I have a new baby girl and when I was pregnant, the seizure stop all 9 months, I had a healthy baby girl...

I had 2 while I was on class C epileptic meds. I was in my 20's and I had a quite a few more sz's in the 1st trisemester d/t the hormonal imbalance but after that I was ok.
