Does Anyone Else Consistantly Wake Up With A Pounding Headache? Doesn't Seem To Matter What I Do.
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Sometimes, I actually hear the pounding. I'm on BP meds and my readings have been fine. I'm also on Gabapentin for nerve pain. It works decently during the day but for about an hour after I wake up; it's headache central. Thoughts?

Mmmmmmmmm intresting now you have got me thinking because sometimes its like i can actually hear the blood pumping through my head.
its a weird thing,
its not actually in my ears but within the skull and i kinda feel/hear every pump of my heart beat but in my skull
ive never linked this to my headaches or mini episodes
i would also like to see and hear others thoughts on this

Yeah the head aches are a big downside to my symptoms too, theres nothing i can do its like some one is inside my skull with a sledgehammer repeatedly pinging (not banging its more like when someone does that odd ping noise and it REALlY grates on your nerves but its constant/over n over again) at certain spots,
always in the same blooming spots too (ive actually been able to sit and define/draw the areas of pain for my specialist to see
tiger balm rubbed on the temples does help or smelling lavender oils or fresh lavender

I get headaches all the time, the medicine doesn't help at all for me. I usually go to my room turn lights off turn on music and sometimes that helps I don't know why but it does
