Before I went in for my Brain Surgery, I had many different test done.. I had the WADDA test done, MRI, the Neuro Psych Test, and when I was finally Admitted in the hospital they prepped me for the Gid test along with the VEEG for a week. Then when they got all the answers they were looking for , they got me ready for the brain surgery.

I think you're referring to an intracranial eeg which gives a more detailed reading than a video eeg and is generally done before any kind of brain surgery for epilepsy. My son had one done in Oct. and they reduced his meds until he had 5 'good' seizures and they determined he was a candidate for the NeuroPace RNS which was then surgically implanted a week later. It was just turned on a month ago and we are already seeing definite improvement in the type and duration of my son's seizures. It's been a challenging process but will be worth it for any type of szr control (Aaron has tonic clonic szrs).

Yes I had the EEG test electrodes they place them though my skull in to my brain
