Lamictal Side Effects
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been taking Lamictal since January 1st (tapering off Depakote). Since then, I've been having very weird and vivid dreams (and a few nightmares, too). My question is this:
(1) Has anyone else had these side effects?
(2) Does this go away once my body adjusts to the medication?

Keep in mind when it come to AED meds , no matter what brand your taking, everyone reacts differently to them. Everyone's body chemistry is different, and responds differently to the side effects of the meds. Some of us may have strong effects from them, maybe the feeling is moderate, then there there are people with a mild to almost nothing from the side effects.

I've taken Depakote, and come off of it. It's for sure the medicine.
