I'm on a small dosage of Tegretol. I was told it was one of the older medications but it is doing the job for me.

I was prescribed Toprimax in September to stabilise my seizures as well as severe migraines. Unfortunately, my seizures are very inconsistent in frequency. I will have to come off the Toprimax. Before I started my Toprimax I had consistent seizures but they happened too regularly, so Toprimax was prescribed to try and stabilise. Didn't work clearly.

That is great it worked great for me until I was 40. I was test patient when I was 16.

I was a test patient on Tegretol. Blood tests continually along with systems check!

Yes I take tegretol and tegretol slow release I've been taking it for 20 years then I was given keppra 5 years later and now seizure free for 10. Years . One thing I will say with the tegretol is to make sure you get your referral levels checked regularly as my doctor was prescribing a dose well over the therapeutic dose cause horrible side effects double blurred vision, headaches , dizziness but once done was on normal dosage alongside the keppra it worked and side effects went x
