I have a racing mind as well. Dr.put me on adderall but that doesn't stop. Ativan helps a bit. I believe it's just par for the course. Sorry I hope this helps.

My mind won't shut off when I'm trying to go to sleep. My neuro has prescribed a sleeping pill for me, it helps a lot.

I'm on Carbatrol ( anotther type of Tegratol ) , Fycompa and Keppra. I've been on many different brands in the past and it never mattered for me. I always struggled to sleep because of my mind racing.

Just curious what meds you are on? Ever since my Dr changed my meds it seems my mind started racing. Sometimes I have to take benedryl just to get to sleep at night.

My mind is always racing with thoughts. There is music running thru my head, thoughts of the day, that went on. If I had woken up and I had a dream , I try to analyze it and figure out the meaning. Always wondering when I'm going to fall asleep. And many other things.
