Anti-depressants And Epilepsy
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

So when I got released from the hospital, my psychiatrist wanted to put me on a couple anti-depressants and also mood stabilizers. My mom did some research on them though and found out they could affect my epilepsy badly so I didn't start. If youfeel comfortable sharing, is anyone on any that works well with epilepsy and your current AED?

I take 1 1/2 tablets of zoloft. I find that it helps with my mood and I haven't had any trouble with it. I take it every morning.
