I have recently started taking Vimpat with Keppra and have now got continuous skin problems and spots. This is something completely new to me and I hardly ever get spots but no matter what I use as a face wash, makeup etc. I can't appear to stop this or hide the spots. I also know that it isn't the Keppra as I have been on this for a while with no problems. Another issue skin related that has recently started is spots on my scalp.
Is this normal or is there anything I can do to stop it?
I take 150mg Vimpat and have developed acne on my back & buttocks never had it before. I also have loads of tiny spots under my skin all over my face and neck ๐ก doc gave me antibiotics for acne but they made me sick ๐คฎ for my face he said itโs a matter of experimenting with lotions & potions ๐๐คฏ
I have been taking 150mg of vimpat along with 3750 mg of Keppra. I never had acne or red spots all over my face and neck and until I started the vimpat. I can't get it to go away or cover it up. My Dr said the side effects are better than having the seizure, but I feel it makes me "ugly or unclean". People stare at it and its uncomfortable. If u figure anything out please let me know!!!!!
Since beginning vimpat I have been getting a lot of bruises. Once in a while I do get bad skin. The seizure control out ways the bad skin.
I looked up Vimpat and having skin problems can be a side effect. I would mention it to the Dr.
