To me this feels like a weird question but, when any who has Tonic-Clonic seizures when your having a seizure do you black out and lose consciousness? everyone says i do and i know its a normal thing but i can always tell whats going on around me, i can tell people word for word if a seizure doesn't last longer than about 2 mins, (2 mins is the common time for me) it has my nero laughing saying it couldn't happen but my mum proved it to him one day and he is even confused

i have them all the time. I am even responsive through them. my first one after my stroke my brother said I started yelling and cussing and demanded to go to the hospital and call my husband. he said i even gave him directions to the hospital though he said i was not speaking clear i just point a bit. and once there I went out like a light. When the doctor arrived I had no clue where i was and why i was there. he said i just had a seizure. I hate not knowing when i am having one and it is hard for those around me to tell but I have noticed after wards that even in familiar places I dont know where i am when i come out and it takes me a minute. I am thankful I have yet t find myself picking myself up ff the ground. I am home most the day alone with just my dogs I have two that tend to stay extra close moments before as if they know something is coming.
Do you ever end up with a headache afterwards or feel tired all of sudden?

I had tonic-clinic seizure. I know what was going on around me and what was being said, and yet I was deep in my own thoughts. If I was asked a question. I would know what was asked but couldn't form an answer. I was so deep in my own thoughts that if I did answer, it would not make sense to what was asked. I had a seizure at chapter one night. I was told to attend at the altar, and I did not do what I was asked to do. The Worthy Matron asked me again and I realized that I must have had a seizure. I went to the altar and did what I was supposed to do. My best friend who had seen them before knew what had happened and was nod at my as if to say are you okay? I found out after the meeting that the order was given quietly and they thought that I did not hear. The prompter who was near me told me to go to the altar and I shook my head. I asked my friend if I shook my head yes or no. She said the I shook my head no.

I had tonic clinic seizures, and I had the same experience. I would blackout, but I knew what was going on around me. Once when I was asked a question I answered by shaking my head to mean no, or I can’t right now. I didn’t remember it, but my friend who knew about my seizures knew that I was having one. She later told me what had happened and my head shake. I asked if I shook my head for yes or no. Another time I was told to sit down which I did.
I could tell what was going on but could not respond properly. The good news is that I have been seizure free and off of all medication for more than 20 years now. Never give up. I am praying for you. 😊❤️🙏🙏🙏
