Right before I had my brain surgery in October 1994, I was taken off all medications in hopes I would have a seizure (so they could locate where the seizures were coming from). The exact opposite happened... I quit having seizures AFTER they took me off of my medication. Once they put me back on my medication (and a fun night later), I started having seizures again. #ChemoStoppedMedicationsNoSeizure

Was it your decision to stop taking seizure medication?

So not really an answer to your question but maybe it's just because there is so many chemicals attacking the rest of your body your nerves that obviously aren't always up to par are to tired to misfire? Who knows though. Mention it to the neurologist and oncologist she sees and possibly her primary doc?

My mother had chemo for ovarian cancer. She had seizures also. And we were surprised when she no longer had seizures. Always wondered was it the chemo?
