Can A Person Bring On Seizures In Someone
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

If my children speak to or see certain people, they both end up having seizures, and I am wondering is it possible that these are a trigger to set my children's seizures off

It's is very possible for other people to to trigger someone to seizure. Whether that person is bringing on some type of stress, anxiety, excitement , fear anger and ect. Those strong feeling and emotions can bring on a spell. I to get similar spells. If I'm at a concert or sporting event or event just a big grouping w/ family and friends , can cause over excitement or anxiety to me . Can put me into a spell. It sort of like when you blow too much air into a balloon , that it pops. The only thing different is that too much info is coming into the brain and making it twitch and go haywire.

I do not have trouble around a specific person, but I do usually have a seizure if there are more than a couple of people around IE lots going on, loudness, over stimulation, etc. Though one time my grand baby headbutted me and that caused one, Glad she is out of that phase!

Your sort of like me . I don't have the problems your having w/ your spouse , but if I get very stressed or over excite and anxious ( like a concert of sporting event ) , can cause me to seizure.

I myself have had strangers cause a seizure. If someone is slurring or talks with certain accents it triggers a seizure. If I am in a group and everyone starts talking at once.
