My husband uses Keppra. He has used various meds over the years. He has always had a problem with word recall. I think it is primarily the epilepsy but the meds add to the problem

I understand what your all saying. Especially what your saying BethannMae I have that problem all the time. Or I will be in a long conversation with someone and I just begin to stumble on my words, its very annoying. I am trying to figure out if I have Dysphasia or a problem with my meds.

I had that with Topamax, and now with Trokendi XR,which is the same thing, only the extended release version. Makes a bunch of sense, BethAnnaMae. Well, if we're ever witnesses in a trial, we have an excuse....lol!

What is recall? I am on keppra, I always had a short term memory problem. Trying to think of the word and to try to say it.

I don't know if I'm having word problems but I do have weight issues. But just like obesity it can be done with discipline. It works best for my seizures than any other ones, going on 17 years taking them. Hope this helps.
